Nicole and Thorsten travelled all the way from Germany to the lovely Gold Coast to exchange their wedding vows on Froggys Beach this afternoon. Unfortunately, the sunny G.C. was replaced with a tropical storm and boy, did it rain!. The lovely couple carried on and were supported by Celebrant Toni Paget and beach decorations by Nicole.
A very intimate wedding was enjoyed by Vivienne and Michael who chose The Marriott, Surfers Paradise for their ceremony on Saturday 27th October 2018. The bride looked stunning in her cream lace slimline gown. Sole guests at the wedding were the couples three adult children. Margaret McLeod officiated at the ceremony.
Kim and David chose to elope to the Gold Coast from Canberra to the Currumbin Wildlife Park where they made their wedding vows in front of family and friends on Monday 22nd October 2018. Officiating Celebrant was Shauna Rowe. During the celebrations staff showed off Elmo the Macaw and a stunning owl. On her pink-edged white wedding gown the bride wore a brooch photograph of her late Mother.

It was a welcomerespite from the Gold Coast’s summer humidity when Leonie and Richard exchanged wedding vows in the grounds of St. Bernard’s Hotel/Motel on Saturday 10th February 2018 in front of close family and friends, some of whom travelled from Tasmania for the occasion. Mel Lithgow was the officiating Celebrant. A cocktail party reception followed the ceremony.
Stacey and Ricky chose to return home to the Gold Coast for their wedding on Saturday 4th August 2018. Together with their baby son they now reside in Melbourne and used a red and black theme for their bridal party and wedding reception at the Currumbin Surf Life Saving Club, where Cassandra Iaoono Weston wed the happy couple. The black iced wedding cake was particularly stunning!!
Good on you Gold Coast, it poured rain on Saturday 14th October 2017 but that didn’t deter Simone and Jay from exchanging vows at Miami Beach that morning. The ceremony was performed by Christine Walker from Varsity Lakes and guests travelled from as far as New Zealand for the occasion.
What a glorious Tuesday evening 10th October 2017 for the wedding of Kirsty and Robert at Oskars Restaurant on beautiful Burleigh Beach. The bride looked radiant in a slim line strapless gown with fish-tail train. Her groom very dapper in navy suit with red bow-tie and their 5year old son Hamish was dressed to match his father.
Guests travelled from Adelaide and the Bride’s mother made the journey from Scotland for the joyous occasion. The fun ceremony was conducted by Celebrant Liz Jesse and a reception at Oskars followed the ceremony.
A pod of whales even dropped by Froggy’s Beach at Coolangatta on Saturday 16 th September 2017 to send their best wishes to Katie and Dan on their wedding day. It really was a very windy afternoon and the whales would have been thankful for some respite from the rough weather out wider. The ceremony was conducted by celebrant Rick Laye and as followed by a reception at Kirra Beach Hotel.
The picturesque chapel at Royal Pines Resort was the venue chosen by Angela and
Andrew to exchange their wedding vows on Saturday 9 th September 2017. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Colin Faulkner. A reception at the resort’s Videre Restaurant followed the ceremony.
On Thursday, 24th August we had the pleasure of photographing the double
commitment ceremony of Allison to Heidi AND Amanda to Natasha at McIntosh Island Park, Surfers Paradise.
The double ceremony was beautifully conducted by celebrant Taflyn Fiola of “A Joyful Celebration”. After a short break on the Goldie, the couples and their families returned to Newcastle.
